Happy Monday! I hope you all had an amazing weekend. I worked really hard this weekend to prep everything for this weeks posts. Not easy with a thirteen year old who is always hungry I think he might just eat me out of house and home. This year I have vowed to be better at my posts and really step it up. So, I hope you all enjoy the new and improved blog year woot woot.
This weekend all I wanted to do was sit by my little heater, curl up in a blanket, sip hot coco, look at fashion inspiration and listen to the rain. It has been raining here in Southern California which by the way I love the rain. I probably would’t say that if I lived where it always rained haha. Seriously I love the sound and the smell yeah! But we have really had some dry winter’s here in California. So, I’m more than excited for the rain to be here. With just wanting to be cozy all I wanted to wear was jeans and a plaid shirt. Then next thing I knew was I was sketching and looking for plaid shirts with a twist. I’ve always loved looking for things and wearing clothing that are different. Then I thought what a perfect post that would be. Plus who doesn’t want a plaid shirt that adds a little spice to their wardrobe?
I hope you like my not so typical plaid shirt picks and my plaid shirt watercolor sketch. I hope you have a wonderful Monday. I know you all will look great in any of these picks so have fun and thank you for stopping by my blog.

The weather has really cooled down here in California! I actually have been turing on my heater at night burr. I tend to like things warmer and everyone complains I like things too warm haha (co-workers, family and friends). I REALLY do love cooler weather even though I’m always cold ;). I especially love running in the cooler weather too.
I was so excited to start bringing out my sweaters again woot woot and start layering. I know winter in California is nothing like other parts of the country so I won’t complain it’s beyond freezing here..haha.
So, with my excitement of it being cooler and bringing out my sweaters again. I wanted to share with you some other sweaters I’ve had my eye on while dusting off the ones I currently have. Perhaps even adding a few more to my wardrobe this year. I hope you love my current picks for the season and thank you for stopping by and reading! Please do tell me which ones are your favorites because like always I love hearing from my readers.

Happy Wednesday! With the holidays right around the corner I can’t help but get excited about all the party outfits! All of sudden you can find glittery skirts, dresses, and shoes everywhere. I sometimes wish the Holidays would last a little bit longer so, I have more of an excuse to take advantage of getting all Promed out (or so my family calls it 😉 ) and wearing my party dresses. Oh wait I don’t need an excuse to dress up I just make up excuses all year round to get dressed up.
I bought my party dress for my works Holiday party months ago. I saw it and i just couldn’t pass it up. So, it has been nicely sitting in my closet. It is a gold and black Jaquard floral dress. Since bringing it to the front of my closet I have been craving touches of metallic. This is the perfect season to crave such things because you can almost find metallic everywhere you go right now..oh happy days!
Since I’m currently craving metallic I put together my fave fives all of which involve sparkly metallic touches. So, enjoy my picks and let me know which ones are your favorite. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and reading.
Happy Monday hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I cannot believe how fast the weekend went by. The summer is flying by faster than I would like it too. I haven’t even been able to get some beach time in yet. Which means one thing! I need to make that a priority before the days of summer are no more!
Since summer is coming to a close I’ve been looking at fall clothes and craving blue and black. Luckily Cobalt blue is trending this winter. I like looking at color forecasting for seasons but I never stick to them. I tend to do my own thing. 🙂 I’ve never been one for following the crowd. I will wear things that make me feel good and look good on me. Which I would suggest to all my readers.
With that said here are a few things I’m obsessing over at the moment (like you don’t even know!). Everything is blue and black themed with the pop of silver! Enjoy and thank you so much for stopping by. I’m going to end it here since for some odd reason my cat thinks my laptop is his personal bed and loved laying on me and my computer when I’m typing! His name stitch really does fit his personality.
