Happy Monday everyone! I can finally share with you all my photos from my most recent trip to Carlsbad. With all the rain recently everything is blooming and in full bloom. I took the day off so, I could avoid the crowds of the weekend. I’ve been before on a weekend (Sunday) for Mother’s Day in fact and it was PACKED! Although if you would like to do something fun with Mom on Mother’s Day (which is coming up). You should take her to the fields and get something to eat afterwards or before. Plus it’s also discounted on that day.
So, Colby and I took a trip down to Carlsbad on a Friday and the fields were stunning. The weather was nice not to hot and not too cold. I was originally going to wear a cute summer dress I picked up at Target. Something a little shorter. However, the night before the trip I stopped by H&M and found this CUTE dress and a straw hat. They even had it in three more colors olive green, black and beige I think. It was super cute, comfy, and perfect for spring/ summer style. I also sized down two sizes because I thought it was a little big for me. So, just in case you pick up one for yourself too. I couldn’t find this dress online so, it might just be an in store purchase. Don’t worry I will link a few options down below for you.
I wanted to venture down to SanDiego later that day but traffic was pretty bad. So, I’m hoping to do a San Diego trip soon because Old Town is so, much fun! I usually don’t have to do too much to convince Colby to go. Unlike coming with me to the flower fields haha. Bribery works great in this house especially when food is involved ahaha. Old town has lots to see, do and has lots of yummy food.
