In Style with the 1920’s

With movies such as The Gangster Squad and The Great Gatsby hitting the theaters. I am feeling very inspired by the era’s of these movies. I’m sure I will not be alone in this inspiration and feel these movies might just keep these trends going.

Either way the first era that I wanted to share with you is the 1920’s. Here are some beautiful 1920’s and Art Deco inspired gowns that are to die for. All Designed by Johanna Johnston. These are just a few of her dresses and trust me it was hard to pick just these six gowns. I love how they resemble the fashion of the 1920’s but they still have a modern twist to them.

The first two dresses are from her older collection, but the rest are from her current. I could not share with you just the new ones without showing some from the old collection. They were to stunning to pass up and not share. So enjoy!

Keep your eyes open for more 1920’s inspired posts with accessories and veils.

Amazing back detail on this dress.(top)

I love the Art Deco inspired seaming/lines on these last two dresses.

Spa Time In Style

While, the winter season is a great season for fashion and for spending time with the family. It is not so great on a girl’s skin and hair because of the not so, wonderful dryness that comes along with it. So, I went around looking for cute lounge wear, along with beauty treatments and hair treatments that can help a girl combat the dryer climate. These are things you can do at home in some cute lounge wear.

What’s even better is these are great ways for any bride, bridesmaids, and mother of the bride to hydrate their skin and hair so that their skin and hair looks and feels amazing for the wedding day.

I personally have tried bed head, H2O, and Clinque products and have never been dissappointed. So have fun spaing it up at home and looking even more radiant.

Products in order of appearance ( left to right): Grey Legging Free People , Purple Burnout Polka Dot Victoria Secret, Bed Head Shampoo & Conditioner Ulta, Purple Pattern Robe Free People, H2O Intense Hydration Ulta, White Lace Robe Free People , H20 Ulta Foot Cream, Hand Cream, Foot Scrub, Hand and Cuticle Scrub, Clinque Moisture Surge Sephora, Orange long legging Free People, Grey Top Urban Outfitters, Flower Hoodie Shopbop, Yellow Color Blocked Shirt Antropoligie, Grey Pants Urban Outfitters, H2O Hydration Mask, De-stresssing Mask.
