Elizabeth Fillmore’s Fall 2014 Bridal Collection

Happy Monday!

Oh do I have a lot in store for you all this week. Just in case you didn’t know it Bridal Fashion Week was about 2 weeks ago. My instagram news feed was constantly updating with dresses from the runway and behind the scenes looks. Which you wont find me complaining about because it was like being lost in a magical dream for me.

So, now I’m going to share that magical dream with you all. I will be sharing my favorite designers and dresses from their collections. First up is Elizabeth Fillmore’s Fall 2014 Bridal Collection. I’m so loving three dimensional designs on bridal gowns lately. It is simply stunning and adds more texture to the gowns. Especially if they are three-dimensional flowers. Honestly what girl wouldn’t want to have flowers on her gown that seem almost real ?

My favorite gowns are the larger images. It’s always hard for me to choose just one of course.  Although if I had to choose just one it would be the first dress here. Let me know which one is your favorite. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy.

Fashion Week Bridal Inspired Dresses

Happy Friday!!!

I’m always excited to see the fashions at fashion week. The clothing is so inspiring and beautiful I love seeing all creativity and beautiful clothes. Now that fashion week has been over for a little bit I get a chance to look through all the designers lines and pick which ones are my favorites. However, this post has a little bit of a twist. These are my picks from fashion week that are bridal inspiring (meaning they resemble wedding gowns). There are so many gowns that make their debut at fashion week that can be a bridal gown too! This is always the hardest part for me is to edit my picks down.

So, if your a bride that is looking for a something with a little more edge or something that is different from the usual bridal gown then look no further. So here is Part 1 of my picks that are bridal inspiring. Make sure to keep an eye out for next weeks posting for the 2 half  of my picks. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy my picks!

What Is Your Bridal Style Part 2

Happy Wednesday! I honestly can’t believe it is Wednesday already sometimes it’s crazy how fast the weekdays fly by. However, I am excited because the weekend is almost here and I can focus my attention on more blog post ideas for you all, illustrating, working on my wedding sashes (I usually can only conquer 2 of these on the weekend hehe). Most importantly though the best part of the approaching weekend is spending time with my boy.

So, just as promised here are the last three wedding themes in case you did not see one that you felt was your style. Here are 3 more that are sure to excite you and help you find your bridal style! I know these styles are sure to excite and inspire you enjoy and thanks for stopping by once again.

LuxBride

Lovely Lux is for the bride that loves elegance and wants the same feeling for her wedding. Let’s also not forget that she loves the luxiourious things in life too and want’s to share this type of atmosphere with her wedding guests. This bride is all about the details. With this theme you will swept away into a land of  beauty, gracefulness, style, grandeur, and splendor that will always be remembered.

HappyBride

Pure happiness is the bride that is just beyond happy to start her life with the one she loves. She isn’t to wrapped up with all the details of the wedding and is easy going and just wants to enjoy her day. She is about taking in every moment of the day with her new groom and guests. Her wedding style is more laid back and her guests will feel at ease, warm, and comfortable being themselves. You can definately feel the joy, warmth, spontaneous attitude with this wedding style!

LadyLib

Lady Libre is all about personality with her wedding style. She isn’t caught up in details and wether things go together she just wants to be herself. Her gown style isn’t traditional either. She is bold and is willing to be so with her gown too opting for colors, or non traditional things. Her style oozes a free spirited women and theme. Her guest are sure to enjoy the change of the traditional. Close friends and family are the attendees of this wedding and they are sure to have a blast.

New Bridal Illustrations Too Pretty Not To Share

Happy Friday, everyone! Yes, it’s finally the weekend – yay!

Are you ready to see some bridal gown illustrations?

I love fashion illustrations, in part, because I’m so fascinated with the initial ideas for designs, before they “come to life.” Every now and again I like to practice (i.e., warm up) by doing illustrations.
I really love illustrating; mostly, it allows me to experience a remarkable feeling of freedom. When I first start, I enjoy being crazy and kind of letting my hand do what it wants with little control. Yes, it gets messy sometimes (I love this part, too) but then I refine it. Honestly you should see my clothes and hands when I’m done (It’s worse when I paint haha). Perhaps I should take a picture of that and show you in the near future haha. Lately I have been thinking about pushing myself to experiment more and try a more stylistic fashion style. But, until then, you’ll have these lovely bridal fashion illustrations to look through.

Keep in mind the designs are not mine, these are just warm ups. I also thought I would do something with them which – exactly what will remain a secret, for now. But don’t worry, I’ll let you know what I am up to with them very soon! I just don’t want to ruin the surprise.

So, enjoy theses images of what I like to call the behind-the-scenes (sketching) process. Feel free to let me know which one is your favorite Thanks for stopping by and enjoy!

Jenny Packham Bridal Collection 2014

As promised here is Jenny Packham’s 2014 bridal collection. Sorry I have been swapped with getting use to my son’s new school schedule and my eyewear design job. Oh how I dream of the day I can just work on only bridal and fashion and share with you all my findings and designs. One day soon I know it! However, until then I’m back and you have my undivided attention. And trust me I have a lot to share with you which I know you will be excited about.

I can never seem to get enough of Jenny Packham’s bridal gowns. They are truly breathtaking and I’m blown away by every collection. My absolute favorites from her collection. Since it is way to hard to pick just one, are the images that are the larger ones. I’m like a little girl in a candy store there are too many choices for me to choose just one. So, instead of choosing one I will take a few. Or in this chase I will choose a few bridal gowns that are my favorites.

Tell me which ones are your favorites from this collection. I would love to know!! Thanks for stopping by and letting me share my picks with you.
