Happy Friday!
So, I know I’ve mentioned in a past post that I’m decorating for a New Year’s Eve party. It’s been a lot of work so far but a lot of fun. Lucky for my readers though I’m doing a lot of DIY decorations for the party (get ready for lots of DIY tutorials haha)! So, if your thinking about hosting a New Years Eve party, a wedding, or just want to add a little something extra to your holiday decorations try these cute sparkly votive holders. They are pretty, fun, and easy to do.
Also I just wanted to make a quick note that this is my first DIY post on Eternel Trésor. Yup I’m pretty excited about it and so, happy I can share it with you. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy today’s post!
Things you will need:
1. Glitter
2. Weldbond (This glue is good for really adhering to glass and holding the glitter!)
3. Paper plates for glue, and for loose glitter to fall into.
4. Paintbrush/s
5. Glass votive holders. (Mine are from IKEA) Make sure you wash them and dry them. It’s Important to make sure they are clean!
After you generously put your first coat of glue and glitter let it dry. Wait until it is completely dry before you start your second layer. Second layer helps cover any spots you might have missed.
XX,
Shy
